My name is Angela Peery, and I'm an educational consultant and author. I'm also a traveler, by RV, plane, train, boat, and car. This blog shares what I'm seeing and doing while out there -- what I'm cooking, eating, drinking, and enjoying.
This fortune cookie sure was prophetic! I've been an educator for 37 years, with more than half that time spent consulting with schools all over the US and in several other countries. I'm starting to cut back on work and spend more time dining out and traveling, much of the time with my husband, and sometimes with our dogs. When not traveling, we're at home in coastal South Carolina, exploring whatever is interesting nearby. Many of my reviews and photos are on Google; I'm a level 7 Google Local Guide.
I worked in the food and beverage industry in my teens and twenties and am a true foodie, tuning into Food Network often, following celebrity chefs on social media, and finding fabulous restaurants everywhere I go. My husband is a homebrewer, and we're craft beer geeks. If you don't like photos of beautiful plates and frothy beers, this is not the site for you. (Photo from Tom Ham's Lighthouse, San Diego, CA.)
In the summer of 2020, my husband and I purchased a 36-foot, class A motorhome. We took it on a journey to North Dakota and lived in it for two months. Since that time, we've done other short trips, and we'll continue to do so. We're members of Harvest Hosts and love to explore breweries, wineries, and farms that are part of the program.
